It was a moment of joy for over 500 women at the Stanbic IBTC Holdings women’s event tagged ‘Bloom Weekend’ where it nurtured women and the future on Saturday July 27 2024 at Landmark Events Centre. Committed to fostering economic growth and empowering individuals and businesses, Stanbic IBTC continues to champion gender equality and provide tailored financial solutions for women.
The hybrid event commenced with women from different sectors participating in yoga session anchored by Yasmin, the Ladies At The Table Empowerment Series (LATTES), an all-day trade fair, and Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SME) masterclasses including exhibition.

The event converged women in Stanbic IBTC Blue Blossom community with the theme Bloom Weekend ‘With Her. For Her’ that discussed the Ladies at The Table Empowerment Series (LATTES), with industry experts and thought leaders, on health, media personalities, financial independence and stability, emotional well-being, and breaking barriers in career and business.
Nike Bajomo, Executive Director, Business Development, Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers in her opening speech said women deserve an enjoyable future, Stanbic IBTC cater from cradle to grave in area of supporting businesses finance, investing, insurance, retirement plan.
She said “This annual BLOOM WEEKEND aimed to celebrate, empower and inspire women within Stanbic IBTC vibrant Blue Blossom community by forging meaningful connections and fostering growth. “By focusing on a holistic approach, we aim to promote well-being financial independence, and entrepreneurial success among women. We recognise the transformative power of community, the cooperation that emerges when women unite to support one another is unmatched.”
Bajomo assured that the collaborative environment of Stanbic IBTC Bloom Weekend will continue spark meaningful change with provision of space where influential figures and attendees engage in open dialogue, every attendees presence signifies a shared vision and a common goal to herald future where women are not just participant but leaders in shaping the socio-economic fabrics of our world conversation will continue to actively bridge the divide between women’s aspirations and their tangible achievements and in addition create the advancement of women by providing space to empower women.
