…calls for N50 million fund raising

The Cherubim and Seraphim Church Ibukunoluwa held its 3rd Annual Adult Harvest and Thanksgiving Service.
It was a coming together of notable personalities from different sectors of the country under one roof as Ibukunoluwa Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria hosted its 2024 Adult Anniversary Thanksgiving Service, Rashidat Olushola Okunlade who was at the service reports.
As early as 11:00 AM, on Sunday, November 17, 2024, all roads that led to Ibukunoluwa Cherubim and Seraphim Church at 2-3 Tigbo Ilu, Awofadeju Estate, off Orita Ara Bus Stop witnessed an unusual and unprecedented human in the community.
The glorious thanksgiving ceremony led by the officiating minister started with a Processional Hymn while a beautiful choir introit took place immediately after.
A star-studded line-up of Gospel Musical Artistes led by Ibukunoluwa C&S Choristers Leader, Evangelist Abimbola Adesanya were on hand to treat the congregation to spirit-filled gospel music.
In a mood of celebration, the 2024 and 3rd Adult Harvest and Thanksgiving Service with leading woman and man of God; Her Eminence SP. Gen. Rev. MII. Elizabeth Awofadeju (JP) CSCIWW Founder and SP. Apostle Emeritus Adetunji Adejokun (JP) CSCIWW General Overseer of the church.
Notable personalities from home and diaspora were part of the great event. Some of them were Otunba Ja’afaru Braimoh Chairman African British Group UK and representatives in Nigeria and many others was present to celebrate the Thanksgiving service with the prominent General Overseer of God’s church.



In his welcome address, SP. Apostle Emeritus Adetunji Adejokun (JP) CSCIWW General Overseer said the thanksgiving service which holds every third week in the month of November epitomises the strict adherence to doctrine and obedience of their affiliation to the Praying band and also a precursor to the hosting of the Annual Harvest and Thanksgiving.
“It is indeed my pleasure to happily welcome you all to our 3rd Anniversary Harvest Thanksgiving service.
“I want to thank the prophet in charge, Apostle Prophet Oladimeji Emmanuel and elders who throughout have been of tremendous assistance to the cause of our dear church, their tireless efforts and sacrifice is the result of what we are seeing today.
“Many thanks also go to the 2024 Harvest Committee and the Chairman, Elder Anjorin for graciously deciding to lead in this capacity,” he espoused.
He also used the occasion to thank the Mother of the God’s Army, Mother of The Choristers of Ibukunoluwa C&S Church for living up to their billing and for being magnificent.
“Internally, the Youth Fellowship, the Good Women Council, the Bands as well as our ever-increasing parishes have met their 2024 objectives.


The preacher His Grace SP. Apostle Babatunde Olufemi Ogunlana treated the theme judiciously as he took the congregation on a Spirit-filled journey into the word of God.
While delivering sermon, Ogunlana said the theme for this year’s harvest service ‘Season Of Bountiful Harvest, according to 2 Conrinthians 9:6’, epitomises vital components of growth in the life of sower, the seed believers sow will surely germinate for harvesting period. Members of the churches should desire commitments that without the Lord, they cannot do anything and seek the Lord’s favour of acceptance of every efforts for harvest period.
He expressed his profound gratitude to everyone who made the anniversary a success and cautioned the choristers to strictly adhere to composure for tireless efforts at making the every service holy spirit filled.
The high point of the event was the thanksgiving ceremony as invited guests of honor all filed out one after the other to honor God with their substance.
It was such a glorious occasion as it became a melting point for all the invited guests who came from different walks of life to celebrate with the prominent woman and man of God; Top politicians, Business Tyccons, Religious leaders from both Christianity and the Islamic divide, and gospel artists all came together putting aside their religious and political affiliations for one cause to celebrate with the church.





Baba Aladura Gregory Okanlawon of Cherubim & Seraphim Irapada Church Worldwide in his message to the congregation according to the book of Exodus Chapter 23 verse 2, stating God’s warning to the Israelite not to accompany anyone to do evil or speak evil of anyone while he prayed for the congregation.
Okanlawon emphasised on continuous work for God without looking else where or listening to hearsay as God watches everyone, he refer them to the book of Colossians 3 verse 20-21 to obey parents and elders and be of good behaviour.
He warned Prophets, Shepherd, Pastors to feed the congregation with words of God because that is the work God committed into their hands, collecting money for spiritual and selfish purpose is a bad act, they should desist from it.
