The British Deputy High Commissioner in Lagos, Jonny Baxter, recently led a delegation on a courtesy visit to the head office of Fidelity Bank Plc in Lagos, where discussions focused on strengthening economic and business relations between the United Kingdom and Nigeria.

The delegation was received by the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Fidelity Bank Plc, Dr. Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe, alongside the bank’s Executive Director, Risk Management, Kevin Ugwuoke.

Members of the visiting team included the Country Director of the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) Nigeria, Mark Smithson, and the Deputy Country Director, DBT Nigeria, Morayo Adekunle.

The visit provided an opportunity for both parties to explore areas of collaboration aimed at enhancing trade, investment, and financial partnerships between the UK and Nigeria.
