… The Nigerian Society of Engineers President to address media, industry stakeholders on engineering development in Nigeria

The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) has announced a Presidential Media Chat with its President, Engr. Ali Alimasuya Rabiu, FNSE, F.ASCE, FAEng, MFR, scheduled for Monday, August 31, 2026.
The virtual session, slated to commence at 4:00 PM West Central Africa time, will provide a platform for journalists, engineering professionals, and industry stakeholders to engage directly with the NSE President on critical issues affecting the engineering profession and national development.
Engr. Rabiu, a distinguished fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and the African Academy of Engineering (FAEng), and a recipient of the prestigious Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR), is expected to address a wide range of topics, including infrastructure development, engineering education, technological innovation, and the role of engineers in driving Nigeria’s economic growth.
The Presidential Media Chat, which will be hosted virtually via Zoom, is part of the NSE’s ongoing commitment to fostering transparency, stakeholder engagement, and public discourse on matters of national importance. The session offers journalists and media practitioners an opportunity to gain insights into the Society’s strategic vision, ongoing projects, and policy advocacy initiatives.
