The Ikola Community Muslim Central Mosque has invited members of the public to attend the Baale’s Annual Ramadan Lecture, an event aimed at promoting spiritual reflection, unity, and community development during the holy month of Ramadan.

The lecture, organised in honour of the traditional leadership of Ikola community, will hold at the Baale’s residence located at Baale House, Eleyin, inside Ikola Odunsi in Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State.

According to the organisers, the programme is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on the last Sunday of Ramadan March 15th, 2026 and is expected to attract Islamic scholars, community leaders, and residents from across the area.

Chairman of the League of Imams and Alfas in Ikola, Imam Najimdeen Salaudeen, alongside the Grand Chief Imam of Ikolaland and Chairman of the League of Imams in Alimosho, are expected to play key roles in the spiritual engagement and guidance during the event.

The lecture is being hosted by the Baale of Ikola-Odunsi Kingdom, High Chief Lukmon Sulaimon, popularly known as Oduntan Enimakure and Oduntan Adekola I, who noted that the annual gathering provides an opportunity for Muslims and the wider community to deepen their understanding of Islamic teachings while fostering peaceful coexistence.

Organisers say the event will feature Quranic teachings, religious admonitions, and discussions on moral values aimed at strengthening harmony and discipline within society.

Members of the public, particularly residents of Ikola and surrounding communities, have been encouraged to attend the lecture and benefit from the spiritual insights that will be shared by respected Islamic scholars.
