Equities market closed today on a negative note, as NSEASI depreciated by -0.40% to close at 38,712.55 basis points as against +0.17% appreciation recorded previously. Its Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stands at -3.87%.

Market breadth closed negative as JAPAUL OIL led 15 Gainers as against 20 Losers topped by STANBIC IBTC at the end of today’s session – an unimproved performance when compared with previous outlook.

Meanwhile, market turnover closes positive as volume moved up by +20.77% as against +10.54% uptick recorded in the previous session. FIDELITY BANK, CHAMS and ACCESS BANK were the most active to boost market turnover.
