Q: Can you tell us a bit about yourself and your relationship with Fidelity Bank?
A: My name is Mrs. Francesca Ogbonnaya. I’m from Delta State, and my husband is from Ebonyi State in South-East Nigeria. I was born here in Kano State and have lived here all my life. I’m a trader — I sell fufu in the market to customers who buy in bulk to resell in restaurants or feed their families.
I started banking with Fidelity Bank sometime in early 2024, about a year ago, and I’ve remained with them since then.
Q: What inspired you to choose Fidelity Bank over other banks?
A: My experience with my former bank wasn’t satisfying. I had heard many good things about Fidelity Bank — their customer care, their reliability — so when I decided to change banks, Fidelity was my first choice.
I can proudly say I’ve not been disappointed. The staff treat customers with respect, and my account officer is always responsive and helpful. Every time I have a concern, he’s available to assist.
Q: When exactly did you open your account?
A: I opened my savings account in January or February 2024.
Q: How has your experience been so far with Fidelity Bank?
A: It has been wonderful — truly wonderful. This is the first time I’ve experienced anything like this. I’ve never heard of any bank in Nigeria where ordinary customers like me win big through savings promotions.
