Police Begins Physical, Credential Screening For 50,000 Constables Recruitment in Kebbi

The Kebbi State Command of the Nigeria Police Force has announced that the physical and credentials screening for applicants in the ongoing recruitment of 50,000 Police Constables will commence in the state on March 9, 2026.
In a statement issued by the Command’s spokesperson, SP Bashir Usman, the screening exercise will run until April 18, 2026, and will take place at the Police Headquarters in Gwadangaji, Birnin Kebbi. Applicants are expected to appear on the specific date and time indicated on their invitation slips.
According to the Command, candidates are required to visit the official recruitment portal of the Police Service Commission at npfapplication.psc.gov.ng to confirm their application status and print the necessary documents for the screening.
Applicants must present the following documents at the venue:
Guarantors Form
Application Submission Slip
Invitation Slip
Credentials Screening Form
Physical Screening Form
In addition, candidates are expected to come along with the following items:
Invitation Slip showing assigned table
Completed Credential Screening Form
Original National Identity Number (NIN) printout or NIMC card
O’ Level Certificate (GCE/SSCE)
Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
Certificate of Local Government/State of Origin
Trade Test/Certificate (for specialist applicants only)
Duly completed and signed Guarantors Form, with photocopies and passport photographs of referees attached
Original and duplicate copies of credentials arranged in two separate white flat files with recent passport photographs attached
The Command further stated that all candidates must appear at the screening venue dressed in white canvas shoes, white T-shirts, white shorts, and white stockings.
The Commissioner of Police in Kebbi State, Umar M. Hadejia, assured applicants that adequate security arrangements have been put in place and that the exercise will be conducted in a transparent and orderly manner. He urged candidates to maintain discipline throughout the screening process.
The Police Command also reiterated that the recruitment exercise is entirely free of charge, warning applicants to be cautious of fraudsters or individuals who may attempt to demand money in exchange for assistance. The Command stressed that anyone found engaging in such fraudulent activities will be arrested and prosecuted.
Authorities added that only candidates who have received official invitations will be attended to at the screening venue.
