The general public has been formally notified that the Delta State Free ICT Training Programme will officially commence on March 26, 2026, as part of efforts to strengthen digital capacity and expand opportunities within the technology sector.

According to the organisers, the list of selected participants has already been released, and all successful applicants are advised to make adequate preparations and ensure their availability ahead of the programme’s commencement.

The training programme is designed to provide hands-on instruction in key areas of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), equipping participants with practical knowledge and skills that can improve employability prospects, stimulate innovation, and encourage entrepreneurship.

Organisers further noted that additional details regarding training venues, schedules, and participation guidelines will be communicated to participants through official channels in due course.

The initiative is being coordinated by Dr. Mary Mena Akpoguma Okuoimose, Founder and National Coordinator of WOVOV.
