FBN Holdings Plc (FBNH) had a great outing at the Year 2023 Great Place to Work Awards ceremony held last Thursday at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.

 

The Holding Company and its subsidiary companies; First Bank of Nigeria Ltd, FBNQuest, and FBN Insurance Brokers received significant awards at the prestigious event.

 

FBN Holdings Plc was awarded the Gold Certification as a Great Workplace attesting to the quality of its people practices. Based on the company’s consistency of having received certification as a Great Place to Work for five consecutive years (2019-2023), it ultimately joined an exclusive group of few companies in Africa that have won the certification for five years in a row, this accomplishment led to FBNH winning the evening’s most coveted Legendary Award – 2023.

 

The Holding Company further capped its winning streak of the evening with two more awards; ‘Best in Promoting People Leadership Practices for small size corporates and ranked  2nd in Great Workplace.’

The previous awards brought to the fore, the focus and strategy of FBN Holdings’ Leadership in promoting a conducive work environment and building a highly motivated, engaged, and productive workforce.

In another feat achieved by the Group at the event, First Bank of Nigeria Limited, the flagship of the group, received a Gold certification as a Great Workplace in addition to winning the ‘Best in Promoting High-Trust Culture (Large Corporates) thus affirming its goal at building a culture, trust and transparency. The Bank also ranked 4th Best Workplace in the large corporates category, an improvement from previous year’s ranking.

For the members of the FBNQuest Group, the award of Best in Delivering Impactful Organizational Values went to FBNQuest Merchant Bank (Medium size corporates) and FBNQuest Asset Management (Small size corporates) respectively. FBNQuest Merchant Bank apart from being ranked as 2nd great place to work, also carted home Best in Promoting People Leadership Practices (Medium-size corporates).

Yet another member of the FBN Holdings companies, FBN Insurance Brokers received the following awards, Gold Certification, Best in Promoting Fun and Friendly Culture, and Best in Promoting Culture of Diversity, Equality and Inclusion for small size corporates to cap a commendable performance by the company for the year.
