A middle-aged man known to be Ifa Priest has slumped and died while allegedly having sex with the pastor’s wife at a hotel in Ikere Ekiti, headquarters of the Ikere Local Government Area of Ekiti State.
The incident happened in the hotel room where the Ifa Priest had sexual intercourse with the lady on Monday, January 2, 2023.
The late Ifa priest identified as Fadayomi Kehinde, aka Ejiogbe, reportedly lodged at a hotel with a woman said to be the wife of a shepherd of a white garment church in the same town.
A source, who said the woman was the wife of a cleric in one of the churches in the area, expressed surprise at the incident.
She said, “The man died in the hotel room while having sex with the woman. The woman raised the alarm after realising that the man collapsed.
Associates of the late native doctor were alleged to have attributed his death to “MAGUN”, a local charm placed on married women by their husbands to harm lovers who sleep with them.
“The manager of the hotel and some residents rushed to the scene and immediately took the man to a nearby hospital, where he was confirmed dead. I want to believe the woman was spiritually laced with a native thunderbolt.”
Ekiti State Police Public Relations Officer, Sunday Abutu, who confirmed the incident, said the investigation had begun.
Abutu said, “We can confirm the death of the man in one of the hotels at Ikere Ekiti on Monday. His corpse has been retrieved and deposited in a morgue. We are interrogating the woman in question as we embark on investigations to unravel the cause of the man’s death.”
