…Oil theft will end soon, says NNPC Group CEO
The Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Limited), Mallam Mele Kyari, has revealed how an illegal oil pipeline connecting directly to the high sea was recently discovered.
Mele Kyari and the Chief of Defence Staff, General Lucky Irabor on Friday visited the scene of the newly discovered illegal pipeline.
The illegal connection point on the Trans Escravos Pipeline looped onto the 4km Afremo test line with General Lucky Irabor and others. Inspected the Afremo platform, the potential exit point for diverted crude oil. Coordinated security Intervention is paying up. Theft will be ended.
