The Arole Oduduwa & Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, has congratulated the Chairman/CEO of the Nigerian Diaspora Commission, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, on the occasion of her 60 years birthday.
Ooni Ogunwusi who expressed his felicitation through a statement by his Director of Media and Public Affairs, Otunba Moses Olafare on Thursday, described the former Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) celebrated broadcaster and three-term federal lawmaker as a patriotic Nigerian who has emblazoned her name on the international stage as an advocate of social justice and a loud voice of the voiceless.
Describing her as a worthy ambassador of the Yoruba race, Ooni Ogunwusi explained that Mrs. Abike Dabiri-Erewa has used her office to resolve countless diplomatic and humanitarian issues, thereby creating a good image for Nigeria in the global community.
“In my daily humanitarian activities, I have had cause to work closely with this great woman particularly on the repatriation of vulnerable young girls and youths in foreign lands and I am proud to say that Mrs. Abike Dabiri-Erewa has been a helpful stakeholder.
On this special occasion of her 60th birthday, I congratulate her very warmly as I wish her a healthy long life filled with prosperity.” The Ooni said.
