The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Lagos Province 20, is set to host its 2026 Economic Summit on Saturday, March 21, at Christ The Lord Parish, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, bringing together leading voices across Nigeria’s economic landscape.

The summit, themed “Positioned for Advantage in a Shifting Economy,” will feature a distinguished lineup of speakers and panelists drawn from key sectors, with participation open to both in-person and virtual attendees.

The event is expected to convene policymakers, business leaders, investors, and entrepreneurs to explore strategies for economic growth, wealth creation, and sustainable development in the face of Nigeria’s evolving economic realities.

Host of the summit, Assistant Pastor in Charge of Region 11 and Pastor in Charge of Lagos Province 20, Pastor Tunde Netufo (FCA), reaffirmed the church’s commitment to economic empowerment as part of its Christian social responsibility.

He noted that the initiative aims to promote economic literacy and informed dialogue, equipping individuals with the resilience needed to navigate the country’s changing economic environment.

According to him, the summit aligns with the church’s broader mission of contributing meaningfully to national development and enhancing citizens’ understanding of economic issues and their everyday impact.

Renowned economist and financial analyst, Bismarck Rewane, will deliver the keynote address at the summit.

The programme will also feature panel discussions covering personal wealth creation, small and medium-scale enterprise (SME) development, and taxation, with a focus on the implications of recent government tax policies for individuals and businesses.

Speaking on personal finance and wealth management, Sola Adesakin, a Chartered Accountant and wealth coach, will share insights from over two decades of experience advising individuals and organisations on structured wealth-building strategies.

On SME development, social entrepreneur Dr. Chidi Okpaluba will contribute perspectives drawn from his extensive work in business development and youth empowerment initiatives that have impacted over 200,000 Nigerians.

Tax expert Nike James, Partner, Tax Financial and Tax Risk Management at KPMG Nigeria, will provide analysis on tax regulations, compliance, and the broader implications of fiscal policies on businesses and the economy.

Panel sessions will be moderated by Uwa Osa Oboh, Principal at African Capital Alliance, while award-winning broadcaster Ayo Mairo-Ese of Arise News Channel will anchor the event.

Organisers say the summit will serve as a platform for thought leadership, practical insights, and actionable strategies designed to position individuals and businesses for sustainable success in a dynamic economic environment.

Interested participants can register via the church’s website.
