FidBank UK Limited, the international subsidiary of Fidelity Bank Plc, has announced a strategic move to broaden investment opportunities for Nigerians seeking to acquire property in the United Kingdom.
The bank unveiled its Buy-to-Let product, designed to provide tailored financial solutions for high-net-worth individuals (HNIs) and corporations looking to enter the UK real estate market. FidBank UK offers a full suite of services including trade finance, personal and business banking, treasury, commercial lending, and private banking.

The announcement came during an exclusive product showcase hosted by the British Deputy High Commissioner, Mr. Jonny Baxter, at his official residence in Lagos on Tuesday, 26 May 2026. The invitation-only event drew captains of industry and corporate leaders.
Speaking at the event, the Managing Director/CEO of FidBank UK Ltd, Mr. Johnson Enemadu, described the initiative as a game-changer for cross-border investment.
“This event is about showcasing something exciting in the market. We are taking our customers along on this journey supporting their businesses by bringing capital into both financial institutions and the corporate space, and also serving our high-net-worth individuals. It is a total experience,” Enemadu said.
He added that the launch comes amid strengthened bilateral ties between Nigeria and the UK, following the recent state visit of Nigeria’s President to Britain.
“This renewed engagement continues to unlock new pathways for trade, investment, and financial collaboration. FidBank UK is pleased to play a leading role in driving this,” he said.
The British Deputy High Commissioner, Mr. Jonny Baxter, reaffirmed the UK’s commitment to deepening economic partnership with Nigeria.
“London’s position as a leading global financial centre is central to this, supported by robust financial infrastructure that enables efficient trade flows and seamless cross-border transactions. It is encouraging to see institutions like FidBank UK advancing financial services that not only expand investment opportunities but also strengthen financial systems supporting growing commercial ties,” Baxter said.
Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, represented by the Honourable Commissioner for Finance, Mr. Abayomi Oluyomi, lauded the initiative, stating that it aligns with the state’s T.H.E.M.E.S. Agenda.
“FidBank UK offers a private banking relationship grounded in regulatory rigour and institutional trust. This is not a catalogue of products—it is a comprehensive financial architecture built for people who live, work and invest across the Nigerian-UK corridor,” Oluyomi said.
The event also featured art exhibitions by leading Nigerian visual artists Femi Morakinyo and Oswald Chukwunyeremugo, whose works drew admiration from guests.
