MILO Rolls Out 30-Day Ramadan Gifting Initiative, Reaches Communities Across Northern Nigeria

In the spirit of Ramadan, a season defined by compassion, generosity, and communal unity, MILO has launched a 30-day gifting campaign targeting communities across Northern Nigeria, aimed at supporting families and reinforcing the values of the holy month.

The initiative will see the distribution of over one million sampled cups of MILO, alongside more than 1,000 cartons of the beverage.

Beneficiaries will also receive essential Iftar items, including prayer mats, kettles, and plastic buckets, to ease daily observances during Ramadan.

The campaign is further amplified by notable ambassadors such as Ahmed Musa, Mansurah Isah, and Sulaimon Bosho, who are championing the message of unity and generosity across the region.


Speaking at the launch, Gilbert Tweneboah-Koduah, Category Manager for Beverages, noted that the initiative reflects MILO’s commitment to meaningful consumer engagement.

He explained that providing essential Ramadan items underscores the brand’s alignment with the values of care, compassion, and community support.

To ensure effective distribution, the donated materials will be entrusted to 100 religious and community leaders overseeing mosques with an average congregation of 300 worshippers. These leaders will coordinate the allocation of items to families within their communities.

Also commenting on the initiative, Sheikh Ibrahim Shehi Mai Hula, Chairman of the Kano State Hisbah Board, praised the effort, noting that MILO’s intervention goes beyond commercial activity to deliver tangible support to those in need during Ramadan.

Beyond the Ramadan campaign, MILO continues to drive youth development and community empowerment through initiatives such as the MILO Building Champs programme, the MILO Building Champs Sports Fest, and the MILO Basketball Championship demonstrating its long-term commitment to nurturing future generations and fostering healthier communities nationwide.
